• The enclosure is made from a minimum 1 mm galvanized or electro-galvanized steel sheet in a folded, bolted cubicle design, with a hinged door for circuit breaker access and removable gland plates at the bottom.

• It supports floor or wall mounting, with front access and provisions for top or bottom cable entry. All doors and mounting plates are properly earthed using flexible wires, ensuring adequate continuous and short-circuit current ratings.

• The SMDB is an MCCB-based distribution board with a prefabricated, fully shrouded bus bar assembly. Designed for easy front access, it allows convenient component maintenance and cable termination, with suff icient internal space and supports for cable routing.

• Gland plates for single-core cables are made of aluminum or brass, and the enclosure includes natural ventilation to regulate internal temperature based on component capacity.
